Founder/President
I’m Dan. I grew up in Montclair and spent my childhood in Uptown. Today, I own two businesses here, live here, and hope to raise my family here one day.
I love this town, and I’m excited to help build Uptown Sound into something that brings people together, celebrates great music, and helps keep Anderson Park and Uptown beautiful.

Day Ordonez

Founder/Vicepresident
I’m Day! Born and raised in Ecuador, I’m a small business owner and proud Montclair resident. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming community.

Growing up, I never had community events like this, which makes being part of creating something that brings people together especially meaningful. I’m incredibly grateful to help build what I hope becomes a cherished Montclair tradition for years to come.

Ken Kuhl

Operations Manager
I’m Ken. I’ve been an Upper Montclair resident for 25 years and a lifelong music lover. 
After spending the last 10 years producing shows with Outpost in the Burbs, I’m thrilled to help bring the joy of live music to the heart of Uptown.
Also meet Cayenne, who insists that every great community event should welcome dogs, too.

Sheree Almy

I'm Sheree, a neighbor and community lover. Uptown has become a meaningful part of our family's life, and this festival is one of the things that makes a neighborhood feel like home. 
I'm here to help make sure the day runs beautifully so everyone can enjoy it. I can't wait to see it all come together for Montclair! 

Priscilla Hernandez

Event Director
Hi! I’m Priscilla, an event and production professional who loves bringing people together through live experiences.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work behind the scenes on everything from the GRAMMY Awards to events at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, and now the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). While I love the excitement of large-scale productions, I’m equally passionate about community events that celebrate local businesses and create opportunities for people to connect.

As a Montclair resident, I’m excited to be part of the Uptown Sound Music Festival and help showcase everything that makes this neighborhood such a special place to live, work, and visit.

Catherine Carriere

Vendor Management
I’m Catherine. I work in experiential marketing, designing and producing large-scale brand experiences across music, sports, and hospitality.

As an Uptown resident, I’m incredibly excited to help bring this vision to life and create an event that brings our community together through the power of live music.
